International Women's Mountain Biking Day 
MAY 2, 2026
Kick off the riding season with TORCA for a celebration of International Women's Mountain Biking Day!  Set yourself up for a summer of success on the mountain bike by joining us for a refresh on your riding skills with one of our talented female coaches. We will focus our sessions on skills such as body positioning, braking, climbing techniques, descending, cornering, among others.  We want to see you ride with more confidence and progress your skills in a safe and supportive environment.  See below for details on various skills sessions being offered.

WOMEN'S MTB DAY
Beginner

Intro to Mountain Biking

New to mountain biking?  This session is the perfect place to start.  In this introductory clinic, we'll cover the the core skills you need to ride with confidence, including trail etiquette, gear use, braking, climbing and descending basics, and an introduction to cornering. 
​
Expect a supportive, low-pressure environment with plenty of time for practice, coaching, and feedback as we build your skills on green trails.

Intro to Blue Trails

Are you tired of lapping Hey Bear like a hamster wheel? 
If you’ve been cruising the same loops and want to explore more of Terrace’s trail network, this clinic is your next step.

We’ll introduce you to approachable blue trails while focusing on key skills like body positioning, braking control, climbing and descending techniques, and cornering. The goal is to help you feel more confident, controlled, and comfortable as terrain becomes more dynamic.​
