Why Tacos on Terradise?Mountain biking can be intimidating. Racing can feel even more intimidating. We created Tacos on Terradise to give women in our region a fun, approachable, and welcoming event where participation matters more than results and community matters just as much as competition. As Terrace's first women's enduro, we're starting small with just 50 riders and a $50 registration fee. Our hope is that this inaugural event grows into an annual destination race that brings riders from across Northern BC together to celebrate mountain biking, friendship, and adventure. |

We encourage all participants to spend some time on the course trails before race day. There are no secret stages or last-minute surprises, our goal is to reduce stress, build confidence, and maximize fun.
Familiarity with the trails will help you have a safer, more enjoyable experience on race day.

An Enduro is a mountain bike race that combines the rush of downhill riding with the challenge of getting yourself to the start line.
Riders are timed on designated downhill stages, while the climbs and transfers between stages are completed at a relaxed pace within a set time limit. The winner is the rider with the fastest combined time across all stages.
Enduro is all about having fun, challenging yourself, and enjoying great trails with an awesome community. Our event is open to all skill levels. Whether you’re new to mountain biking or have years of experience, you’re welcome to join us August 8th!!

I've never raced before. Is this event for me?
Absolutely! Tacos on Terradise is designed to be welcoming to first-time racers and experienced riders alike. Whether you're chasing a podium or simply looking for a fun day on the trails, you'll fit right in.
How difficult is the course?
The event offers both short and long course options. Riders should be comfortable riding intermediate (blue) trails. The long course includes more advanced terrain and is best suited to riders with experience on black-rated trails.
Can I ride with my friends?
Yes! Riders often travel and ride in groups. While stages are timed individually, most of the day is spent riding transfer sections at your own pace.
Are e-bikes allowed?
Yes, E-bike riders will compete within the E-bike category.
What safety equipment is required?
A certified mountain bike helmet is mandatory. Knee pads, gloves, and additional protective equipment are strongly recommended.
Do I need a TORCA membership?
Yes. An active TORCA membership is required for all participants and must be valid on race day. Our trails don't take care of themselves, our volunteer TORCA trail crew will be out making sure that all of the trails on course are in ship-shape condition for race day!
Why is registration limited to 50 riders?
Tacos on Terradise is a brand-new event. We're intentionally starting small to create a great experience for participants while we test the format and build toward future years.
Will there be race course practice opportunities?
We're hoping to offer race-prep sessions through the TORCA North coaching program before the event. Details will be announced as coach availability is confirmed. You are welcome to pre-ride the course as often as you want between now and August 8th!
Will there be awards?
Yes! We'll have podium awards as well as fun prizes and giveaways.
I'm coming from out of town. Where should I stay?
Terrace offers a variety of accommodations, campgrounds, restaurants, and riding opportunities. We encourage riders to make a weekend of it and explore the local trail network. Visit the Tourism Terrace website for more information about what to do and where to stay while you're in town!
